SCOTTSDALE – Drawing upon more than 16 years of personal training experience, Jose Chacon has opened Mostro Fitness, a stand-alone independent personal training studio, at the Ancala Village Shopping Center, located at the southwest corner of Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Via Linda in northeast Scottsdale.

Chacon will operate the new venture in association with Karen Young, an independent personal trainer who possesses a diversified background in fitness training, nutrition and health and human performance.
“Mostro Fitness is a place for people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels,” Chacon said. “It is our goal to create a unique environment for people to work with a personal trainer on a one-to-one basis to achieve their own personal fitness goals.”
The hallmarks of Mostro Fitness will be simplicity and diversity, Chacon said. “In an industry that can be confusing at times, we will encourage individuals to have fun discovering new techniques and simple workouts that are designed and supervised by highly-experienced personal trainers. Our goal is to provide every one of our clients with a unique training regimen that is specifically suited to their own individual needs.”
Mostro Fitness offers a full array of workout equipment to accommodate a variety of fitness needs, including free weights, kettle bells, TRX, medicine and stability balls, kick-boxing equipment, row machines and cable machines and a variety of cardio equipment.
Mostro Fitness – which occupies approximately 2,004 square feet at Ancala Village – provides its trainers with 24-hour access so clients can train at any hour of the day seven days a week.
Chacon and Young are also in the process of recruiting knowledgeable and experienced part-time and full-time personal trainers to join their new northeast Scottsdale team. The couple encourages interested trainers and/or clients to contact Mostro Fitness at (480) 251-3400 or (480) 747-4432.
