Highly-Successful Five-Year-Old Restaurant Showcases Expanded Patio, Refurbished Interior And Several New Additions to Creative European Inspired Menu
SCOTTSDALE – One of the northeast Valley’s most successful restaurants and popular gathering spots re-opened its doors this week with a fully renovated interior and patio area, as well as an enhanced menu with several new additions.
Local Bistro – located within the Hayden Peak Crossing Shopping Center at the southeast corner of Hayden Road and Thompson Peak Parkway in north Scottsdale — celebrates the diverse flavors of Italy, France and Spain and is known throughout the Valley for its wood-fired pizzas, fresh-caught seafood and hand selected steaks.
Local design architect and restaurant designer Ivonek Badilla, principal of EVODESIGN, in collaboration with Todd Kessell of Platinum Commercial and Ron Hecht of Valley Architecture led the remodel.
Owned and operated by the Osio Culinary Group, Local Bistro opened in 2010 and quickly attracted a loyal following of diners residing in some of north Scottsdale’s most popular residential areas, including Grayhawk, DC Ranch and McDowell Mountain Ranch.

Improvements to the space and ambiance, which were designed to enhance the dining experience include new lighting, floors, walls and furnishings; an expanded bar with additional windows opening to a new side patio; additional televisions in the bar area, and expanded and refurbished seating in the existing patio area.
Revamped Local Bistro Re-Opens at Hayden Peak Crossing

To celebrate the re-opening, Local Bistro is inviting regulars and new guests to experience the renovations with several special offerings running through Sept. 28:
Social Hour prices on food and drinks at the bar on Sundays from 3 p.m. to close and all day on Mondays.
$1 Mimosas for ladies (limit three per person) during Saturday and Sunday brunch with purchase of an entrée. This, in addition to the bottomless Bloody Mary’s or Mimosas for $12 each that have become a Local Bistro brunch menu staple.
$5 martinis and frozen cocktails at the bar or in the dining room on Thursday nights.
