Co-Owners Jay Levine and Philip Hantel to Provide Northwest Valley Residents with High-Quality Cycling Products, Exceptional Customer Service

PHOENIX – The Stetson Village Shopping Center in northwest Phoenix is now home to Sonoran Cycles, according to co-owners Jay Levine and Phllip Hantel and officials of The Pederson Group, developers of the center located at the northeast corner of 39th Avenue and Happy Valley Road in northwest Phoenix.

In addition to carrying a full line of new bicycles, Sonoran Cycles also provides top-quality bicycle service. “While other bike shops keep customers’ bikes for several days before even starting repairs, we offer our customers service appointments providing same-day service,” Levine said. We also offer loaner bikes and suspension parts to customers whose bikes need to be sent out for service or warranty work.”

New Center at 39th Avenue and Happy Valley Road to Provide Dental, Orthodontic Care For Infants, Toddlers, Children and Adolescents; Free Examination and Cleaning During Month of July

PHOENIX – A July grand opening has been announced for the Valley’s fourth West Valley Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics (WVPD&O) at the Stetson Village Shopping Center, located at the northeast corner of 39th Avenue and Happy Valley Road in northwest Phoenix. According to Dr. Jeffrey Brownstein, the newest clinic will provide high-quality dental and orthodontic care for infants, toddlers, children, adolescents and adults with special healthcare needs. Joining Dr. Brownstein in the opening of new clinic are Drs. Elliott Baily, Tina Ptacek, Kimberly Blaser and Chad Foster.

New Studio to Offer Classes Designed to Optimize Physical Health Through
Strength, Flexibility, Focused Awareness and Overall Well-Being

PHOENIX – A late May grand opening is planned for the Valley’s eighth Sumit’s Yoga at Stetson Village Shopping Center, a 144,360-square-foot development located at the northeast corner of 39th Avenue and Happy Valley Road in northwest Phoenix.

According to Sumit Banerjee, owner and operator of the rapidly-expanding Yoga concept, the new location “will provide us with an outstanding location in one of the northwest Valley’s most vibrant shopping centers. Stetson Village provides us with high visibility and access to a number of new residential neighborhoods. We are looking forward to our grand opening later this month.”
Like his other locations, the new northwest Phoenix studio will be designed for beginning through advanced Yoga students, reinforcing Banerjee’s teaching philosophy of helping others realize the powerful wellness benefits of yoga, including a stronger, toned and more flexible body, and improved state of mind that encourages relaxation, self-acceptance and awareness.
Banerjee possesses a broad background in the practice and teaching of various yoga styles, including Bikram and Vinyasa. Designed for all levels, from beginner through advanced, Sumit’s Yoga is a balanced and complete mind-body-spirit practice that develops strength, flexibility, focused awareness and overall well-being.
Classes at Sumit’s Yoga – to be conducted in the new 3,091-square-foot studio – will flow to music through a sequence of balancing and energizing asanas (poses) in a heated practice environment.
Banerjee strongly believes in the healing aspect of heat. “It’s simple,” he said. “In a yoga class, you practice poses that require stretching and compression of the joints, muscles, ligaments and other supporting structures of the body which naturally protects itself from physical exertion by generating heat from the inside muscles outwards. We start with the heat up front, providing that extra protection from the very first poses. Another added benefit is that your body burns more calories in a heated environment. It’s not uncommon for our students practicing regularly to lose inches of shape in a relatively short time.”
Classes are designed to optimize physical health by “waking” and energizing the entire body. Banerjee stresses that the greatest benefit comes not as much from the healing of the body, but from the healing of the mind.
“The simple pleasure and self-reward that comes from quieting our minds and listening to each breath cannot be measured,” he said. “You do not measure your yoga practice by how many perfectly-aligned poses you can perform,” he asserts, “but by how deep you can immerse yourself inwards………..This is the beauty of yoga and it awaits every student who is ready to let go of the ego and begin listening to our own deeper wisdom.”
