Holistic Pet Center Debuts at 175,000-Square-Foot Northeast Scottsdale Center
SCOTTSDALE – The Valley’s third See Spot Shop store is now open at the Ancala Village Shopping Center in northeast Scottsdale, according to officials of The Pederson Group, developers of the 175,000-square-foot shopping center located at the southwest corner of Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Via Linda.
Owned and operated by Eileen Urbanowski, See Spot Shop is a full-service holistic pet center that provides one-stop shopping for a wide variety of pet products and services, including natural pet foods, treats and supplements. The new 2,000-square-foot store offers northeast Scottsdale residents a broad selection of unique merchandise, including collars, beds, clothing, toys and grooming supplies.
Urbanowski said the new store will also offer grooming services and conduct a series of veterinarian-supervised anesthesia-free teeth cleaning clinics.
The Valley’s first See Spot Shop location has been operating at the Summit Shopping Center in northeast Scottsdale since 2005. Urbanowski opened her second Valley store last year at the Stetson Village Shopping Center – another Pederson Group development – in northwest Phoenix.
James Pederson, leasing representative for The Pederson Group, said, “The See Spot Shop concept has been very well received at its two other Valley locations. We expect the new store at Ancala Village to be equally successful and are confident that this unique retail concept will have a great appeal to pet owners residing in the trade area.”
Ancala Village is anchored by a 46,059-square-foot Safeway Store. Other tenants include ACE Hardware, The Good Egg, Spinato’s Pizzaria, George & Sons Asian Cuisine, Tesoro Italian Restaurant, and International School of Arizona.
The center is located in close proximity to some of north Scottsdale’s most successful residential developments, including Ancala, McDowell Mountain Ranch, Scottsdale Ranch and Stonegate.
For more than 30 years The Pederson Group has been a premier Phoenix-based real estate development company specializing in upscale retail projects. The company has developed and remodeled more than 27 highly successful retail and mixed-use projects in the greater Phoenix area, and has developed shopping centers totaling more than five million square feet.
